Our aim is to provide high quality dental care to every one of our patients with a strong focus on prevention, clear communication and good value in our new and modern practice. We provide a wide range of general dental services and work in closely with Canberra's best dental specialists.

COVID-19 Dental Treatment Guidelines Update v10                      Updated 2.00pm Tuesday 28th October 2021

The ACT entered a lockdown on 12 August 2021 as a result of a COVID-19 case being identified in the community.

On Monday 27th October 2021 the ACT Government outlined a Pathway Forward out of lock down as we continue to work towards high vaccination coverage in the ACT.  Subject to the public health risk remaining relatively stable  the ACT’s lockdown will end at 11:59pm on Thursday 14 October, triggering a transition to medium level public health measures.

Under the Pathway forward, Dental services can resume as normal from Friday 1st October 2021. We will contact patients who have had appointments deferred or rescheduled to make new appointment times. If you would like to contact us directly, please email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

The health, safety, and well-being of our staff, patients and community is our top priority. All our team has now received both doses of the Covid Vaccination and the Flu vaccine. The Covid outbreak is constantly  evolving so please go to https://www.covid19.act.gov.au/  for the latest advice on exposure locations, where to get tested and how to get vaccinated.

We can provide a full range of dental services using standard precautions for people who do not meet epidemiological or clinical risk factors for COVID-19 infection transmission.

For patients with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 infection: Informed Dentistry cannot provide treatment of any kind as we do not have the full suite of protective measures in the ADA COVID-19 Guidelines. If urgent dental treatment  is necessary, please call Australian Government Coronavirus Health Information Line on 1800 020 080 to determine the appropriate management.

It is important to maintain our current screening protocol and extra precautions. Please find following an outline of how we are conducting patient appointments:

    • o They have travelled overseas or to an area or concern or restriction in Australia in the last 14 days
    • o They feel unwell, or have symptoms including but not limited to fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath
    • o They have had contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days or if they are waiting for a Covid test result
  • If a patient answers YES to any of these questions, we cannot provide routine dental care. We will reschedule the appointment for 14 days after the overseas travel/ time in areas of concern or restriction/ contact with a COVID-19 case/ symptoms resolution.
  • Upon confirming appointments, we recommend that patients attend alone or only bring minimal additional accompanying persons
